Portfolio Manager: Guillermo Bauder
Began his career in 1993 as a floor broker in the Caracas Stock Exchange for the broker dealer of Grupo Confinanzas. He later transferred to the Local Fixed Income area and thereafter to the International Fixed Income area. In 1998 became Foreign Associate in Peru for North American Institutional Brokers covering US Equity institutional clients. In 2000 he joined FTC Securities as Foreign Associate for Latin America, in charge of developing US Equity and Fixed Income for institutional clients. In 2003 he joined forces with Convenção, a Brazilian broker dealer, to develop their international division offering Futures, Commodities, US Equities and International Fixed Income to institutional clients. In 2007 he founded an Emerging Markets international fixed income boutique, Galloway Capital Management, where he served as managing director and portfolio manager until year-end 2014. Guillermo studied Business Administration in the Universidad Metropolitana de Caracas. He has lived in Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, United States and Canada, and is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Head of Global Trading: Arturo Bauder
Began his career in 2007 in consulting, as an associate with Resolutions Management Ltd., for the IPO process of Prisma Energy (now AEI) which owns interests in power generation assets in emerging markets. He was responsible for managing an international project across 19 countries, for the transfer of information and maintenance of an online data-room, working alongside legal and M&A departments and as support for auditors´ due diligence. In 2008, he joined Galloway Emerging Markets´ trading desk where he was responsible for institutional clients and traded equities, futures and emerging markets international bonds. He became a partner of the firm and served as Co-Head of Fixed Income Trading through 2014. He holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, Houston TX and is a certified asset manager by local Brazilian authorities CVM. Arturo has lived in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Egypt and Venezuela, and is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
