Prior to founding Clarion, he founded an Emerging Markets international fixed income boutique in 2005, Galloway Capital Management, where he served as managing director and as portfolio manager until end of 2014. Guillermo´s previous experience includes developing the international division of Brazilian broker dealer Convenção, offering International Fixed Income Securities, Futures, Commodities and US Equities to institutional clients; as Foreign Associate for Latin America of FTC Securities, in charge of developing US Fixed Income and Equity for institutional clients. Foreign Associate in Peru for North American Institutional Brokers covering US Equity institutional clients. He began his career in 1993 as a floor broker in the Caracas Stock Exchange for the broker dealer of Grupo Confinanzas, where he later transferred to the Local Fixed Income area and thereafter to the International Fixed Income area. Guillermo studied Business Administration in the Universidad Metropolitana de Caracas. He has lived in Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, United States and Canada, and is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Prior to founding Clarion he was associate and Co-Head of Fixed Income Trading at Galloway Emerging Markets, where he was responsible for institutional clients globally and has traded international bonds, equities and futures since 2008. Additional experience includes consulting in an international project with Resolutions Management Ltd, during the IPO process of Prisma Energy (now AEI) which owns interests in power generation assets across 19 countries in emerging markets. He holds a Bachelors in Business from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and is a CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) authorized fund manager. Arturo has lived in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Egypt and Venezuela, and is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Began her career in 1987 as a credit analyst at Banco Crefisul in Brazil and prior to joining Clarion she had served as Senior Investment Analyst at Bradesco Asset Management for over five years. Throughout her career she has worked at a number of respected financial institutions: as Senior Investment Analyst at Banco Espirito Santo, senior Investment Manager at Unibanco, Senior Credit Analyst at Banco Inter-Atlantico, Senior Credit Manager at Banco ABC Brasil (Arab Bank Corporation), Consultant for Steel & Mining at Votorantim Metais S.A. She holds a Bachelor´s in Economics from (PUC) Pontifica Universidade Catolica de São Paulo and continued studies in the MBA in Finance program from (IBMEC) Instituto Brasileiro do Mercado de Capitais.
Brings a strong background in managing and developing businesses and has a career as a C-level executive of privately and publicly held companies and as senior business consultant with high value added firms. Some of Mordejai´s positions include: Partner at Proinvest Finance; CEO of Gazit Globe Brazil; EVP/COO of Cushman Wakefield South America and head of the Capital Markets Group; COO and Founding Partner of Eccelera Latin America, co-leading the development and implementation of the asset management and service model, where he managed two funds and was responsible of all operational aspects of the business; Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company living in various countries, where he worked in several industries and managed investments for institutional and qualified investors, structuring investment vehicles and raising capital. Mordejai is a CVM (Securities and Exchange Commission) authorized fund manager, ANBIMA (Brazilian Investment Banks Association) credited asset manager, elected director of the Brazilian Private Equity and venture capital association for 3 consecutive periods and licensed real estate broker. He holds an MBA from IESA (Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Administración). Received Heinz award for the best student in Corporate Finance (1989-1991) Electrical engineer (1982-1987) from Universidad Simon Bolivar. Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Rumanian.
